This is a picture of Banting's graduated cylinder. It is a glass cylinder with a wide circular base and pouring spout on the right hand side. Measurement lines are etched into the glass and extend around the circumference of the cylinder. Measurement numbers are in pints and ounces and are etched in a fancy font on the front side of the cylinder. It is standing in front of a a copy of the London Telephone Directory from 1921.
