Volunteering at Banting House

Banting House volunteers assist in preserving and presenting the messages of national historic significance of Sir Frederick Banting and Banting House for the benefit of the people of Canada. They are knowledgeable and committed volunteers who act as liasons between Banting House and the general public.

Our volunteers are a diverse and talented group of people who enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience with others, making friends, and experiencing one of the most exciting and rewarding volunteer programmes in the city.

Volunteers contribute to the Museum in different ways. Banting House recognizes a volunteer as an individual who provides his or her time and service to an activity that supports the objectives of Banting House and is authorized and sponsored by Banting House, and for which he or she receives neither a salary nor a fee from Banting House.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Sir Frederick Banting and his contributions to research and to be involved in the daily operations of the museum, an important and vital historical community resource.
